A pair of mid-century brick semis have been transformed into two family homes with generous spaces to grow.
The northerly aspect has been maximised from living rooms and main bedrooms which benefit from the spectacular views of the ocean and Sydney sandstone cliffs. Protected balconies further extend the interior spaces whilst providing necessary shelter from the exposed cliffside location.
Central staircases connect the three levels of each dwelling allowing light to flood from above into the south-facing living and entertaining zones. Extensive use of travertine floors both indoors and outdoors provides a sense of calm and connection to the coastal context.
