These alterations and additions to a semi-detached dwelling aim to maximise natural light and aspect into a narrow subdivision. The front rooms and roof line of the original building were retained in to meet local heritage conservation policy with the new additions discretely located to the rear.
A series of compact courtyards combined with skylights provide opportunity for daylight to permeate the interior spaces whilst the predominantly white material palette further enhances the quality of reflected light within the home.
